Goals: To address remaining HL7v2-FHIR issues not discussed in Meeting 13 on 30 June 2020

Discussion items (included the following):

  • Notes from Meeting 13 on 30 June 2020 were agreed by members in attendance

 

  • 2 Patient Administration 2.1.9.12 MSH-12 HL7 Table XXXX – Version ID updated via additions to HL7 Table 01043 – Internal Version ID and 2.1.9.21 MSH-21 Conformance statement ID (ID) 01598, including HL7 Table 0449 – Conformance statements.  Kieron to contact Brett to have pages for Profile URIs (FHIR Provider Directory) and update link for FHIR R4 Value sets which should also return user to correct version of the Standard.  Standards nomenclature to retain YYYYXX logic although does not necessarily imply year and month of publication.  

  • Action item 26 - 8 Acknowledgements updates now online, including 8.1.1 Purpose with updated diagram, 8.1.2 MSA Usage ACK message content. Tony to map ACK message line with relevant message portion using colour coding for text and arrows, including legend.  Tony to supply successful read message acknowledgement sample for 8.1.3 Accept vs Application Acknowledgments.  

  •  Action item 25 - 2 Patient Administration 2.1.9.8MSH-8 Security (ST) 00008  - draft Message Retrieval Codes provided by Jared (circulated by Vanessa 15 June 2020) discussed.  All proposed changes were approved by members in attendance.

  • 17. @Brett Esler  - Update links to all Standards on the HL7 Australia O&O WG page – Australian Diagnostics and Referral Messaging – Localisation of HL7 v2.4 Standard is still referenced as ‘Current Draft Standard’ as per  https://confluence.hl7australia.com/display/OO/Current+Draft+Standards – pending
  • 27. @David McKillop – Provide further updates on ADHA’s Clinical Informatics team collaborations with @Brett Esler to progress translation of HL7 FHIR Australian Base Implementation Guide (AU Base 2): Base Diagnostic Report, Diagnostic Observation & Diagnostic Service Request Profiles from FHIR STU 3 to R4.  - complete  Ensure @Grahame Grieve & @Brett Esler are available to assist with ADHA FHIR review post 30 June 2020
  • 30. @Tony Cruice – Update 8.1.2 MSA Usage to include field names & colour coding labels
  • 31. @Vanessa Cameron – Add new agenda item to Meeting 14: Review of V2 standard changes made case sensitive (RFC says case insensitive); should be evaluated in case insensitive way as per RFC 2045
