Discussion items

During the meeting the HL7 Australia O&O working group:

  • reviewed and disposition the comments received from the HL7 Australia members (see file link below);
  • agreed to recommend Australian Pathology Messaging - Localisation of HL7 Version 2.4 version 1 to the HL7 Australia Board for approval and publication.

Please note: HL7 O&O working group would like to keep the site for ongoing development Australian Pathology Messaging - Localisation of HL7 Version 2.4 for future revisions.

Item for next meeting

  • Progression of the Indication of consent message profile (4700.1) in order to support the provision of diagnostic services reports to My Health Record: 

1) Indication of Consent message Scenarios dv007: This removes TX (Text Data) datatype display segments and replacing them, or converting them to FT (Formatted Text) DataType display segments in the HL7 V2 message examples.
2) Indication of Consent Hl7 v2 Implementation dv011: Mine updates to align with the above.
