FHIR PD work for Appendix 10
Former user (Deleted) presented work done with Former user (Deleted) on Australian Provider Directory in regards to the include comment in Appendix 10 Addressing messages using Australian Profile for Provider Directory Services (Normative) to develop an identifier routability preference extension. This was previously drafted in a HL7 PA working group meeting 2021-03-31.
http://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7au/au-fhir-base/StructureDefinition-identifier-routability.html
The complex identifier-routability extension can be applied to identifiers in PractitionerRole and HealthcareService resources.
It was discussed that routability-asserter uri in the extension might be better replaced by a Reference(Organization) or Identifier datatype which has an assigner Reference(Organization)
The group requested we make a request to HL7 AU PA to ballot the work on HL7 AU Base 2, and Provider Directory so that the content can be referenced.
Diagnostic digital requesting
Former user (Deleted) presented revised concept of the "How to support consumer choice of diagnostic digital requesting after episode of care?"
Andrew McIntyre suggested:
- Provider must obtain a token either electronically or by paper
- Requestor must generate the ID asynchronously (with requirement that messaging process must occur in timely fashion e.g. within 5 mins), to be tolerant of intermittent failures such that the messages can delayed but succeed.
- Token could encode which exchange repository contains the order.
- Encrypted of exchange repository content should be considered.
Outstanding Meeting actions:
- Jared to raise asserter being a referenced organisation
- Jared to raise issue of balloting specs at HL7 AU PA WG
- Next Meeting to be scheduled for 11th May 2021. 10:00-11:30 AEST (Sydney Time) for discussion of ordering (RANCZR ordering project and ADHA Diagnostic digital requesting)
