A8.10 Supporting Observations or Performed ServicesFormer user (Deleted)

Discussion on constraints on senders and receivers. Senders should restrict what they ask and receivers should accept as broad as possible.
Discussion on keeping it simple for adoption ie just pdf.
Sender has to use table 0074 values and the receiver can place the messages into different parts of the application eg Pathology/Radiology/Other.
Wording changed include:

  • "to inbox categotries"

Discussion on where to send the REF message. Added "Clinical/Other" instead of just "Other".

Added in section A8.7.1 "Senders must place "PHY" into OBR-24 .... <<<needs conformance point >>>
A8.7.2 Receivers
Where multiple inboxes are used in a receiving system, the value of OBR-24 must be used to direct the appropriate inbox.
